Beaver Scout Colony meets Wednesdays 5.30 – 6.30pm

For the time being Beavers will be meeting on Wednesdays, not on Mondays as advertised on the flyer.

Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, between seven years and six months and eight years six months.

Our Beavers meet on Wednesdays nights, from 6-7pm. Most of our meetings are held at our Scout Hut, called Southwood Activity Centre (see our contact details for the address).

Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others. They usually meet together once a week in a Beaver Scout Colony.

6th Tolworth’s Beaver Colony has regular sleepovers, at least 2 a year. These are often the first time a young person spends a night away from home, and are really fun-filled evenings. They take place in our Scout Hut, and are always run and supervised by our Beaver Leader.
